Core Services : Analytical Model for Policies.

Analytical model for policies:

We address slum up gradation as a whole in which infrastructure including water supply & sanitation, healthy physical & social environment, health education, employment, crime reduction etc. studies states that 30-40% of crimes in India are from slums. This is just because of the unmet needs and the frustrations experienced out of it. Indian society is responsible to address it. Concerted effort can only solve this. SPRS address this by providing the collective upgradable details of the grass root beneficiaries to the various development institutions, researchers and the government institutions which help them to have the updated profile of the beneficiaries. SPRS serves society majorly in linking the beneficiary details to the development institutions and stake holders through IT enabled development package and to provide the communities the collective information of the government and non government incentives as well as the outreach services. In addition through the community participatory meetings, we collect the views of various stake holders.

This compiled data flow helps to develop a participatory and people focused designing and implementation of the programme. Thus we act as the bridge between the service provider's & the beneficiaries as in Nanded, Maharashtra where we implemented Basic Services for the Urban Poor Scheme in 221 slums reaching to the 38605 households

For achieving this, we formulate development policies. The major exercise involves:

Development Strategy:

Policies and priorities in compliance with the state & national policies concerning

  • Housing & Infrastructure
    • Land
    • Finance
  • Health Assessment
  • Educational Appraisal
  • Livelihood & employment assessment
  • Assessment of anti social activities
Resource Planning :

Identifying the alternative available financial resources in different sectors concerning :

  • Housing & Infrastructure
    • Land
    • Finance
  • Health Assessment
  • Educational Appraisal
  • Livelihood & employment assessment
  • Assessment of anti social activities

Targeting refers to the extent to which the programs reach the intended beneficiary at the national, state and local level. Policies should suggest the development measures targeting the needs of the community.
